Op 23 juni huldigde de Heemkring Westerring het nieuwe informatiebord in op het Ohioplein te Eine.
Er was een ruime belangstelling.
Na de inhuldiging was er een kleine receptie in 't Heem.

Welcome to the "OHIO BRIDGE MEMORIAL WEBSITE".

The "OHIO BRIDGE" at Eine (Oudenaarde/Belgium) was from September 28th, 1929 until May 19th, 1940 the most important "Individual American War Memorial in Europe".

OHIO BRIDGE 1 was destroyed during WW 2 and was rebuild in 1954.
OHIO BRIDGE 2 was destroyed in 1982.
