NA-144.  Operators  Wyatt/AC0RA and Dave/KG5CCI will activate Santa
           Rosa Island (USI CA-011S, WW Loc. CM93, California), as K6R
           on a Satellite Expedition between September 16-18th. The Santa
           Rosa Island is in the Channel Islands National Park. Operators
           have secured permissions, arranged to get to the island and
           will spend 2 nights camping, and operate on a number of satel-
           lite passes ? as well as some terrestrial and HF operations
           too. Look for updates to be posted on the K6R QRZ.com page
           over the coming months with FAQs, pictures, and more infor-
           mation.

  NA-172.  (Update) Cezar, VE3LYC, will be active as VE3LYC/KL7 from
           Cooper Island, Alaska, between August 1-5th. Activity will
           be on 40/30/20/17/15/12/10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL via

  OC-206.  (Update) Pavel, VK6NX, will be active as VI6DH400 from Dirk
           Hartog Island between August 14-18th for 4-5 continuous days.
           Activity will be on 40/30/20/17/15 meters using CW and SSB.
             Due to the significance of the event – commemoration of 
           400 years of Dutch explorer Dirk Hartog landing at Western 
           Australia coast, local telecom authorities have allocated

  OC-208.  Din, YB8RW, will lead a team of operators to acvtivate two
           islands in the OC-208 IOTA Group as YB8O. Between June 15-17th,
           they will be active from Labobo Island, and Bangkalan Island
           between June 18-20th. Activity will be on 40/30/20/17/15/12/10
           meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL via YB8RW. The OQRS on

  SA-072.  Operators Ronaldo/PS8RV, Anselmo/PS8AB and Jo?o/PS8PY will be
           active as ZY8D from Canarias Island (DIB-MA03) between July
           29-31st. Activity will be on 40/20/15/10 meters using SSB and
           100 watts. Operations will also include the RSGB IOTA Contest

4J     – 4JF1BAKU (QSL via 4J4K), 4JF1EU (QSL via 4J3DJ and maybe LoTW)  and
         4KF1BAKU (QSL via  4J6RO)  are  three  special  callsigns  for  the
         Formula 1 Grand Prix that for the first time  will  take  place  in
         Baku, Azerbaijan on 17-19 June.
5W     – Tom, KH8/KC0W is now QRT from  American  Samoa  after  12,871  QSOs
         made between 13 April and  6  June.  He  expects  to  continue  his
         “Worldwide DXpedition” [425DXN 1289] and  go  to  Samoa,  where  he
         will operate CW only starting on 12-13  June.  Length  of  stay  is
         unknown (“the determining factor will be when the pileups die  down

         Maldives (AS-013) on 20-28  June.  He  will  operate  CW,  SSB  and

         9N7NH from Kathmandu,  Nepal  on  16-20  June,  including  activity

C5     – Koji, JM1CAX/ZR6NX is  active as  C5NX from  The  Gambia  until  18

GM     – Kurt, DL9FBF will be active as MM/DL9FBF from Skye, Inner  Hebrides

HA     – Klara, HA5BA was born on 23 October 1956, the  very  same  day  the
         Hungarian Revolution broke  out.  Celebrating  both  anniversaries,

HI     – HI8RCD will be active from 12 June to  12  July  to  celebrate  the
         90th anniversary of the Radio Club Dominicano. Activity will be  on

         22 June to 11 July. He will concentrate on 6 metres,  and  will  be

KL     – Cezar, VE3LYC  will be active as VE3LYC/KL7 from IOTA group  NA-172
         during the first week of August [425DXN 1306]. He “will attempt  to
         reach Cooper Island on 1 August”, with plans to remain  there  “for
         4 days, depending on the weather conditions”. He  will  operate  CW

VK     – Pavel, VK6NX [425DXN 1305] will be active  as  VI6DH400  from  Dirk
         Hartog Island (OC-206) on 14-18 August. He will operate CW and  SSB
         on 40, 30, 20, 17 and 15 metres. The  special  callsign  celebrates
         the 400th anniversary since the discovery of the  island  by  Dutch
         sailor and explorer Dirk Hartog, whose  expedition  was  the  first
         recorded  European  group  to  land  on  the  Australian    western

         from the islands of Labobo on 15-17 June, and  Bangkalan  on  18-20

AF-004.  Mike, DG5LAC, will once again be active as EA8/DG5LAC from
           Fuerteventura Island (DIE S-006, WLOTA 0883, EAFF-191) between
           now and June 18. Activity will be on 40-10 meters using SSB

  AS-026.  Members of a South Korean Amateurs Radio Club (6M6M) will
           once again be active as 6M6M from Jeju Island between June
           23-26th. Activity will be on 6 meters only using CW, SSB,

  EU-010.  Iain, G4SGX, will be active as GM4U/P from Isle of Berneray,
           Scotland, during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 30-31st) as a

  EU-011.  Jim, DL1DAW, will be active as M/DL1DAW from St. Mary’s Island
           between July 27th and August 3rd. Activity will be holiday style

  EU-011.  Dominic, M1KTA, will be active from St. Agnes Island between
           July 29th and August 1st. During the RSGB IOTA Contest (July
           30-31st) he will use the callsign MK1K. Activity during the
           contest will be on 80/40/20/15/10 meters and outside of the

  EU-016.  Friedhelm, DL5RF, will be active as 9A/DL5RF/M from Hvar Island

  EU-042.  Mike, DG5LAC, will be active as DG5LAC/P from Hooge Island
           (WWFF DLFF-013 Wadden Sea) between July 29-31st. Activity

           “Novaja Zemlja”) an uninhabited island, between June 6-10th.

  3B8   – Robert, M0RCX will be active  again  as  3B8/M0RCX  from  Mauritius
           Island (AF-049) from 16 June to  14  July.  He  will  operate  40-6
           metres SSB, RTTY,  PSK,  JT65-HF  and  occasionally  ROS.  QSL  via

  8P     – Rich, KE1B and Anna, W6NN will be active as 8P6MM  and  8P6NN  from
           Barbados (NA-021) on 11-16 July. They will  operate  all  modes  on

  9A     – Kary, HA9MDN will be active as 9A/HA9MDN from Vir  Island  (EU-170)
           from 23 July to 3 August, including an entry in the  IOTA  Contest.

  9H     – Five operators (IT9BTI, JA3FVJ, JA3QWN, JA3TJA and JH3FUK) will  be
           active holiday style as 9H3G from Malta (EU-023) from 28 June to  4

  C6     – Pete,  VE3IKV  will  be  active  again  as  C6AUX  from   Mayaguana

  DL     – Special callsign DL0POLIO will be in  use  until  31  May  2017  in
           support of the  “End  Polio  Now”  global  campaign  aimed  at  the

  F       – For the 65th year the Association des Radioamateurs  de  la  Sarthe
           (F6KFI) will operate a special event station for the  24  Hours  of
           Le Mans. Look for TM24H on 5-19 June, with activity on 80-6  metres
           SSB, CW, RTTY and PSK. All QSOs  will  be  confirmed  automatically

  F       – Christophe, F4ELI and Andy, F4ELK will be  active  as  TM65EU  from
           IOTA group EU-065 on 1-3 July.  Plans  are  to  operate  from  five
           different islands: on Friday afternoon Beniguet (DIFM  AT-003),  on
           Saturday Balanec (AT-038) in the morning and  Trielen  (AT-040)  in
           the afternoon, on Sunday Ledenez Vraz (AT-042) in the  morning  and
           Litiri (AT-041) in the afternnon. They will operate SSB on  40  and

  FJ     – Dave, W9DR and Tom, W9AEB will be active as  FJ/W9DR  and  FJ/W9AEB
           from St Barthelemy (NA-146) on 17-29 June.  FJ/W9AEB  will  operate
           CW and SSB on 40-10 metres, while FJ/W9DR will be QRV on  6  metres
           only (50.115 MHz CW and SSB, beacon on 50.115,7 Mhz). QSL via  home

           will be active as GB2BLE from Lundy Island (EU-120)  from  26  June

  G      – Dominic, M1KTA will be active as MK1KTA from  St  Agnes,  Isles  of
           Scilly (EU-011) from 29 July to 1 August. During the  IOTA  Contest

           June  to  commemorate  the tragic sinking of HMS Hampshire in 1916.
           They will  operate SSB,  CW and  digital modes  on 40-2 metres. QSL

  GM   – A team of seven operators will  participate  in  the  IOTA  Contest
           (30-31 July) as GM5TO from the Isle of Arran (EU-123). Outside  the
           contest, from 28 July to 1 August, they will be signing GM2AS.  QSL

  GU    – The  Telford  and  District  Amateur  Society  will  be  active  as
           GP3ZME/p from Guersnsey (EU-114,  IN89qk)  on  24-29  June.  Expect

  I        – Launched in 1904, the ‘Elettra’ was a two-masted steam  yacht  that
           Guglielmo  Marconi  used  as  a  floating  laboratory   for    many
           experiments. Part of her  keel  stands  in  the  grounds  of  Villa
           Griffone, at Pontecchio near Bologna, from where ARI  Fidenza  will
           be active as IY4EC during the Museum Ships  Weekend  on  4-5  June.

  T8     – Ryosei, JH0IXE will be active again as T8CW  from  Koror  (OC-009),

  VK9N   – The Quake Contesters will be active as VK9NZ  from  Norfolk  Island
           (OC-005) from 25 September to 8 October,  Oceania  DX  SSB  Contest
           included. The team includes Geoff ZL3GA,  Mark  ZL3AB,  Paul  ZL4TT
           (ex ZL4PW) and Phil ZL3PAH. They will operate CW, SSB and  RTTY  on
           160-6 metres with up to three  stations  operating  simultaneously,
           and will try “to give QSOs to those parts of the world  which  need

           Rosa Island (USI CA-011S, WW Loc. CM93, California), as K6R
           on a Satellite Expedition between September 16-18th. The Santa
           Rosa Island is in the Channel Islands National Park. Operators
           have secured permissions, arranged to get to the island and
           will spend 2 nights camping, and operate on a number of satel-
           lite passes ? as well as some terrestrial and HF operations

         Formula 1 Grand Prix that for the first time  will  take  place  in
         Baku, Azerbaijan on 17-19 June.
5W     – Tom, KH8/KC0W is now QRT from  American  Samoa  after  12,871  QSOs
         made between 13 April and  6  June.  He  expects  to  continue  his

           ID8/IQ8HP from Godano Rock on June 2nd. The small group of

OC-206. (Update/Change) Pavel, VK6NX, is planning to be active from Dirk Hartog
           Island between August 14-20th for 4-5 continuous days.
           Activity will be on 40/30/20/17/15 meters using CW and SSB.
           Due to the significance of the event – commemoration of 400 years of Dutch
           explorer Dirk Hartog landing at Western Australia coast, local telecom authorities
           have allocated a special callsign.
